This allows one battery to steal power from the other, where the ESS/Aux battery is usually the thief. Here again--this may just be a need for a simple main battery swap. mine jl is about 3-1/3 years old. 40k miles. Lots of start and stop driving. It started to start weaker and weaker. Replaced the main battery and aux (surprisingly easy). It starts super easy, but voltage when running read 11.6 and head down fast to 11.2 and then it says it's gonna turn off. Will not rev above 3k rpm. Out of warranty.
